    Grunewald has been making tools for the automotive industry since the mid-1970s or, to be more precise, for the textile components for the acoustics and heating/air conditioning of vehicles. This segments, which developed out of model construction, is part of the most fascinating ones of our range of services. Today, Grunewald is able to supply simple as well as complicated tools for producing components such as floor assemblies, engine compartment parts, lining for wheel-housings, roof liners, etc. to customers all over the world.

    These tools are moulding tools or moulding dies, pressing tools, foaming moulds, stamping tools, highly productive one-shot tools and the tools/fixtures required for the manufacturing of textile components such as gauges, assembly, measurement and cutting devices/tools.  In addition, Grunewald can also supply various facilities for manufacturing such components like stamping presses, beading stations, etc..  

    Therefore, the range of our services covers the entire process chain in the toolmaking segment.  Of course, the initial samples can also be manufactured at Grunewald, using the tools that were produced – we have the machines for the processing of many common materials.
